Dr Stephen Tarr BDS(Rand)
As practice principal, Stephen believes in improving his patients health and well being through conservative and cosmetic dental techniques that have a positive impact on their overall appearance and self-confidence.Stephen continually strives to remain up to date with new procedures, materials and equipment.
He is an Invisalign-certified dental practitioner.

Dr Ian Byford BDS(Bristol)
Ian has worked with Dr Stephen Tarr since 2001 and shares his passion for aesthetic dentistry and its ability to transform a patient's appearance and confidence.After graduating in 1996 from the University of Bristol, and through numerous post graduate courses, he has established an interest in cosmetic, endodontic, and implant retained restorative treatment.

Stephen and Renton have worked together for over 20 years. Dr Renton Tindall is a leading, world-class orthodontist committed to using state of the art technology in creating brilliant natural smiles.
Dr Graham Gardner BDS MDent(Orth)
After qualifying as a general dentist from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, Graham worked for 5 years in general dentistry whilst continuing postgraduate studies. This was followed by a three year post as Specialist Registrar in Orthodontics at University of Witwatersrand Dental Hospital, after which he attained his Master of Dentistry in Orthodontics. Since then he has been involved exclusively in specialist orthodontic practice both in South Africa and in the UK.
Align Technology, Inc has recognised Graham's considerable experience in using the Invisalign technique by awarding him the Platinum Practitioner Status. Graham also lectures for Align and runs Invisalign Certification Workshops for clinicians (both dentists and specialist orthodontists) who are new to the Invisalign technique.
As of 2010, Graham is pleased to be one of the first UK clinicians to offer the bespoke Insignia fixed appliance technique.
Graham is registered as a Specialist Orthodontist with the British General Dental council and is an active member of the Specialist Practitioner Group of the British Orthodontic Society and a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists.
Dr Johann Ackerman - Oral Surgeon
Dr Johann Ackerman graduated from the Dental School at the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1977. He was in private dental practice from 1977 - 1984 after which he enrolled for post-graduate studies. He attained a Masters Degree in Maxillo-Facial and Oral Surgery in 1988.
Johann's area of excellence in his specialization, is in orthognathic surgery, Implantology and conservative and surgical management of Temporo-mandibular Joint Disorders.
Johann was a committee member of the Natal Branch of the Dental Association of South Africa from 1988 - 1998 and a member of the Executive Committee of the South African Society of Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgeons from 1998 - 2006 .
He is also an Associate member of the International Society of Maxillo-Facial & Oral Surgeons. He has attended numerous International Conferences, workshops and refresher courses on a regular basis in the field of Maxillo-Facial and Oral Surgery as well as implantology.
He now lives and practices in the UK.
