Many patients keep their natural teeth for life, however teeth can be lost through accident, decay, or sometimes they do not develop properly. There are a number of treatments offered at Marlborough Dental Studio that can be used to replace missing teeth, such as bridges, removable partial and full dentures, dental implants and dental implant-supported bridges and dentures.
There are advantages to all treatments and we encourage our patients to consider replacing a missing tooth rather than leaving the gap. Ignoring a gap, particularly at the back of the mouth, can create other dental problems, such as drifting of the remaining teeth and extra pressure and wear on the teeth near the site of the missing tooth. Missing teeth can also affect your facial structure and can lead to a ‘caved in’ appearance that can be ageing. Questions? See FAQ.
